About this course:
CTE Portfolio and Teaching Practicum is the last and final course required for the DSCTE credential. Due to the nature of the CTE credential, the UC CTE Collaborative courses, SDAIE and Special Needs Strategies for CTE, Integrating Technology into CTE, Curriculum Design and Assessment in CTE, and Instructional Strategies, address and satisfy CTE Preliminary Credential requirements as they are primarily focused on TPEs. The CTE Portfolio and Teaching Practicum transitions candidates to a CSTP focus to address the requirements for a Clear credential.
CTE Candidates will create a professional Portfolio demonstrating evidence of equity, instructional application of essential themes, concepts, and skills related to learning theories, planning and implementation. Candidates will demonstrate evidence of CTE standards-based strategies, instructional planning, and differentiated instruction to meet the diverse needs of their students. Candidates will demonstrate their professional growth and development through a CSTP based summative observation/evaluation.
