I’ve made creative communication the focus of my entire career. It began with an internship at Warner/Elektra/Atlantic Seattle where I learned about promotion (and the inner-workings of a mailroom). A few years later, I was managing visitor experiences at the Olympic Winter Games, and then went on to become a Segment Producer for NBC (you’ll have to ask me in person to reveal the show’s name).
I’ve always been interested in understanding how companies connect with an audience. It was my time at Art Center that really allowed me to discover my passion for Graphic Design and focus on that medium for communicating with others in a meaningful way.
With a background in logo and identity system design, I’ve always enjoyed crafting type and honing letterforms. Hand lettering has become the natural extension of my passion for design and branding.
