Instructor Statement:
Writing is about putting life on the page. It’s about finding the amazing in mediocrity and the beautiful in the sewers. It’s important to get it on the page and be a writer. We’ll jump right into the importance of plot, theme, character, voice, pacing and dialogue. There will be in class exercises to bring your narrative to a new level. During the course we will dive right into producing work and using what’s working and moving forward with that as well as what isn’t moving the story forward. When workshopping it’s important to keep a safe and confidential environment to serve the story as it needs to be.
