Lucy Hakobyan has extensive experience in blockchain, accounting and global economics. She currently is the Managing Director at BT Consulting for over 5 years leading clients from startups to Fortune 500, and the public sector on strategy, innovation, operations, and growth. Lucy’s professional experience is rooted from responsibilities she held for several years as the risk manager at PwC and a venture capital in San Francisco.
Lucy’s core background in the blockchain technology field is validated by her development of the Redesigning Trust: Blockchain Deployment Toolkit at the World Economic Forum, co-authoring of several industry whitepapers, and speaking at global blockchain conferences. She has also contributed to the first NFT projects, built token economics, set up enterprise consortiums, and drove corporate adoptions. Lucy has led the first blockchain standards for the mobility industry and overseen the development of blockchain frameworks for vehicle identities, data marketplaces, supply chain, finance and securitization, insurance, EV grid, and tokenized carbon credits.
Lucy holds an MBA degree from Haas School of Business, University of California, Berkeley and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Economics from UCLA.
