John Sarakatsannis

John (BJ) Sarakatsannis’s experience in project management, supply chain management, and international procurement spans over 30 years. Currently, he is a Professor of Contract Management at the Defense Acquisition University (DAU). Prior to joining DAU he was a senior supply chain manager with the Raytheon Corporation and project manager at both Boeing and Northrop Grumman. BJ served as an officer in the United States Air Force for 20 years achieving the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.

BJ has his Master’s of Business Administration (MBA) and Master’s of Science (MS) in Systems Acquisition Management and Procurement Law. He is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), as well as a Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM), and Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM).

He was awarded “Fellow” status through the National Contract Management Association.
