Instructor Statement:
We believe that everyone has a story to tell! We work on the cutting edge of what is trending and selling these days, so we plan to impart all of that information to our students. In all our classes we pull back the curtain on the publishing industry, showing examples of emails, edit letters, and other real documents. What we teach you won’t find anywhere else. And we always do Ask Us Anything Zooms :) So come join us this quarter!
We understand the importance of authentic, own voices! We’ve developed our educational philosophy through our own extensive education and life experience in the publishing and entertainment Industries. Our primary concern is that students feel understood, safe and respected in the place of learning. Inclusivity is an imperative. Every day of our life implies a degree of cultural understanding and humility because my teaching/writing/life partner Sofi and I both identify as different genders, come from very different countries, cultures and have different primary languages. (We also connect with students in Spanish fluently). Can’t wait to see you in our course!
