About this course:
In today’s evolving healthcare environment, patient advocates must navigate a complex web of federal and state laws to
effectively support individuals. This course provides an accessible introduction to the legal issues surrounding patient rights, responsibilities, and healthcare delivery. Participants will gain practical knowledge of key regulations, empowering them to
advocate confidently within healthcare systems and protect patient interests in a variety of settings.

Enrollment is typically reserved for adult students 18 years of age and older. Students under 18 years of age may receive consent to enroll based on special academic competence and approval by the instructor.
