About this course:

In this seminar students will learn about the newest hardware and software tools for signal processing and music production. The emphasis of this lecture will be on vocal recording, processing and effects. A variety of the newest hardware and software plugins will be discussed and demonstrated that will complement the use of Protools, Logic or Ableton. The independent music producer and composer will be introduced to a variety of microphones, vocal effects, vocal repair, vocal tuning, and vocal mixing styles. Students will be able to “hands on test” different microphones and vocal microphone techniques. Company representatives will demonstrate their current hardware and software with a Q & A period for participants.
