About this course:

This session delves into essential cybersecurity requirements for federal contractors, with a detailed focus on additional Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) requirements specific to Department of Defense (DoD) contractors. Participants will gain crucial insights into safeguarding the confidentiality of Federal Contract Information (FCI) and Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI). Additionally, the course covers penalties for cybersecurity non-compliance, including implications under the False Claims Act and the risk of disbarment.

Derrich Phillips, President & Founder of Aspire Cyber

Derrich is a Certified CMMC Assessor (CCA) and CMMC Provisional Instructor (PI) with 
over 20 years of cybersecurity experience. Prior to founding Aspire Cyber, Derrich served 
as a Cyber Network Defender in the U.S. Army and held various high-level cybersecurity 
positions at companies such as Lockheed Martin, Hewlett-Packard Enterprise, and Bank of America.
