About this course:
This course is designed for those who have written a preliminary outline and a minimum of 50 pages of a romance novel-in-progress. It is designed to help writers find direction and inspiration in the “middle phase” of drafting their novel. We focus heavily on scene craft, character, point of view and voice. Through exercises, discussion and workshopping, you will learn how to strengthen your scenes so readers remain engaged, how to create variety and interest in intimate scenes, how to track character transformation through point of view, how to use word choice and voice to support the world, action and emotion in your novel. The goal is for writers complete the workshop with an additional 50 pages, as well as a more robust arsenal of craft skills particularly useful for romance writers.Corporate Education
