Rhonda Wood
Rhonda Wood is a seasoned Urban Forester based out of Orange County, CA. Rhonda dedicated 25 years of service at the Disneyland Resort caring for over 16,000 trees. Her passion for tree care began at Disney when she was handed a pair of shears and asked to prune topiaries in the park. In 1999, Rhonda obtained the ISA Certified Arborist credential. The following year, she reached for new heights and became an ISA Certified Tree Worker. Rhonda excelled as a climbing arborist. She competed seven times in the WCISA’s Tree Climbing Championship and represented the Chapter four times at the International level.
Rhonda is passionate and committed to serving as a leader and educator in the tree care industry. She has spent countless hours volunteering as an instructor for the WCISA’s Women’s Climbing Workshop and served as the WCISA Board President. Rhonda has also taught Arboriculture courses at Mt San Antonio College. She is Tree Risk Assessment Qualified through the ISA and a graduate of the Municipal Forestry Institute, as well as Consulting Arborist Academy.
Rhonda and her husband are now embarking on a new venture—launching a traveling consulting arborist business. Their goal: to assist others with tree care while relishing the wonders of nature.
