Andrea Bari
Andrea "Andy" Bari is a publisher, producer and manager, with a Juris Doctorate degree from the University of California (Davis visiting Berkeley), a BA from UCLA, and two certificates in business from the University of California (Music Business from UCLA Extension and Business Law from the Berkeley Center for Law and Business). He spent 12+ years negotiating, drafting, and administrating entertainment contracts as a publisher and as contract administrator. After that, Andy worked for two law firms and numerous clients in the subjects of intellectual property law and business. He worked behind the camera in major motion pictures, as music consultant for independent films, and in-house with production companies such as Deline Pictures at Warner Bros and Playtone (Tom Hanks). In 2016 / 2017 he was a researcher for the United Nations Special Rapporteur in Cultural Rights (Karima Bennoune, Esq.) and he has been an entertainment law and business professor for the last 5 years. His legal research expands from the history of intellectual property to the most modern subjects between creativity and tech. Among his previous clients are record labels such as Side One Dummy, Kiefer Sutherland’s Ironworks, and Matthew McConaughey’s JK Livin’.
