Daniel Lifschitz
Daniel Lifschitz is a Partner at the law firm of Johnson & Johnson, LLP, where he focuses on entertainment, intellectual property, and business litigation in the realms of music, film, and television. He has represented clients ranging from Quincy Jones to World Star Hip Hop and has garnered particular experience in the field of entertainment class actions, including cases seeking compensation for artists against major music service providers and record labels. Mr. Lifschitz has written or co-written many articles on copyright and entertainment law for publications including the Los Angeles and San Francisco Daily Journal, Los Angeles Lawyer, Computer & Internet Lawyer, and various bar organizations. Mr. Lifschitz also formerly headed the Project Committee of the California Society of Entertainment Lawyers ("CSEL"), an artists' rights advocacy group responsible for significant amicus curiae efforts before the United States Supreme Court.
