Steven Yamshon

Steven Lee Yamshon, is Chief Investment Officer of Stevens First Principles Investment Advisors. Mr. Yamshon earned his undergraduate degree from CSU, Sacramento with honors. At the graduate level he has studied economics, finance and management at the following universities: UCLA Anderson School of Management, Harvard Business School, Caltech Center for Industrial Relations, Institute for Economics and Political Science at Cambridge University, England, The London Business School - University of London and The University of Redlands and the University of Oxford. Mr.Yamshon earned the prestigious Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Strategy from the Said Business School at Oxford University.His Doctorate in Letters is from CSU Sacramento. He has written over 30 papers and business school case studies, and two books. His dissertaion Human Action and the Securities Markets, according to several leading economists, was ground breaking and historic while his Oxford disseration, Using the Kelly Criterion as a Risk Management Tool in Portfolios was cited as a new and novel approach to managing risk. Previously he was a Visiting Scholar and Professor at the Anderson Graduate School of Management at UCLA. He is an authority on the Austrian Economic Trade Cycle Theory. For service in 2007and 2008 he was awarded the United States of America Presidential Service Award for outstanding service to the U.S. Government and to our nation. Mr. Yamshon is a lifetime alumni of UCLA, Harvard University and Oxford University. Mr. Yamshon teaches Security Analysis and Advanced Security Analysis and has a wide range of experience and education in investment finance, foreign exchange, emerging markets and applied economics.
