Kathy Fuller
Dr. Kat Fuller hails from a small town (24 people…150 cows) in Colorado. She received a BA in Elementary/Special Education from the University of Northern Colorado; MA in Elementary Education with an emphasis on Early Childhood from CSUN; and a Ph. D. in Psychological Studies of Education from UCLA. She teaches at a variety of universities across the country and owns a consultation company. Her research interests are focused on alternative therapies for individuals with and without disabilities. She is currently assessing a dolphin therapy program for children identified with autism and a dog training program to re-home abandoned and abused rescue dogs and to teach dog training skills and responsibility to incarcerated young men. Next up is a program to match service dogs with returning service people and equine therapy to help overcome Post-Traumatic Syndrome in military veterans.
