Terri Emberling
Terri Emberling has spent over 20 years as an advocate for quality early childhood services for young children and families. Prior becoming an Adjunct Professor at UCLA she served as a Behavioral Specialist and Child and Family Therapist at both Jefferson County Head start and Jefferson Center for Mental Health and went on to become President and Program Director at Relationship Roots Inc., a nonprofit organization operating a large, licensed, therapeutic, preschool program.
Relationship Roots later transitioned into an early-care and education training and consulting program, dedicated to Mentoring ECE directors. Terri directed this program and provided training's, workshops, and presentations at national, regional, and local Early Childhood events.
Terri received her B.S. in Nursing from St. John’s College, a Masters of Counseling Psychology from Regis University in Colorado, and 12 core units in Early Childhood Education from Red Rocks Community College.
She is Licensed Professional Counselor, and Child and Family therapist and certified as a Pyramid Program Mentor and DECA Trainer.
