Rebecca Schwaner
Rebecca has advanced degrees in Spanish Linguistics and Romance Linguistics and Literature from UCLA, and taught in those fields at University of Hawaii, University of California at Santa Barbara and at UCLA. In a major career move, she graduated from the UCLA Extension Landscape Architecture Program and has worked for the past 15 years with various firms, with a particular interest in projects in the public sector and in master planning and urban design. Rebecca is currently a Project Designer at Studio - MLA. Her work has won various awards from ASLA, the UCLA Alumni Association, and the UCLA Landscape Architecture Program. In 2009-2010 she was selected Outstanding Instructor in Arts and Architecture, Landscape Architecture.
