Tom Rau

Tom Rau is a licensed Landscape Architect specializing in water-sensitive design of residential, commercial and public projects. He earned his Professional Certificate in Landscape Architecture at UCLA Extension in 2007 and apprenticed EDSA in Santa Monica where he worked on international resort and city planning projects in the Middle East, Europe and China. Tom is currently a Principal in Urban Water Group, Inc., a design-build firm dedicated to integrating state of the art water-harvesting systems into beautiful and sustainable landscapes that are suited to the environmental challenges associated with a changing climate. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from UC Berkeley and an MBA from USC, and has an extensive background in land development, construction administration, and management of commercial and residential properties.
