Paul McCarthy

Paul McCarthy has a Master of Science degree in Applied Sports Science and a Master of Science degree in Athletic Administration and Sport Management as well as a Martial Arts Certificate from Indiana University. He has been the Director of the UCLA Martial Arts Program since 2009 and is proud to say it is one of the largest and most diverse programs in the country. Like learning all subjects, training in martial arts is a personal journey with many 'truths' Mr. McCarthy believes in a collaborative approach to learning where the importance of understanding of concepts that can be applied is just as important as learning the techniques and drills.
