Mark White

Mark White has been with UCLA Extension as an instructor since 1999, serving in the Human Resources program within the Leadership & Management field of study.  As an instructor for the courses Strategic Human Resources, Human Capital Management and Financial Aspects of Human Resources, he has focused on building leadership capabilities to drive organizational success through a deep focus on combining critical thinking skills and the practical application of contemporary approaches to leader effectiveness. Mark is employed also with Kraft Foods, Inc. as Director of Organizational Performance within one of the business units, with 28 years experience in Human Resources, Organizational Development and Manufacturing.  He has also served as a Captain in the United States Marine Corps as a Field Artillery officer.  Additionally, he consults non-profit and other organizations in performance assessments, strategy facilitation and leader development approaches.  His main passion is in the area of leader critical-thinkinmg capabilities and models for improving such in organizational environments. Mark holds a MBA degree from National University in Strategy and Management and a BS degree in Biology and Chemistry from Eastern Illinois University.  He currently resides in Madison Wisconsin.
