Instructor Statement:

As humans, our meaning is made through story. Creatures capable of making believe, our impulse is to innovate. This holds true for those of us looking to brand our businesses and for those aiming to write the Great American Movie Franchise by way of a weekend novel. Our desire for newness, to know what our lives could manifest next, is fundamental to our being. I try not to think of myself as having students or clients or jobs. My classroom is a workshop. In it, we take every opportunity to play because we are perpetual collaborators experimenting with the questions of what the next great work could be and how we can shape it, word by word.
