About this course:
For students seeking work in user experience design, product design, and design research, this course supports development of an online portfolio to get noticed by potential employers and land job interviews. Students receive a critical review of their portfolio from the point of view of a hiring manager. Discussion topics include structure, storytelling, industry standards, and presentation best practices. Class time is made up of live review sessions in addition to working periods in which students incorporate feedback and polish their presentations.
Prerequisites
Must be current User Experience Certificate candidates who have completed or are enrolled concurrently in DESMA X 499C User Experience IV. Must have existing portfolio assets or a portfolio draft in progress (a completed portfolio is not required).
