OLLI at UCLA Membership
Membership in OLLI at UCLA begins the quarter you join and lasts for one full year. Membership is required to take OLLI courses, with the exception of Taste of Osher.
OLLI at UCLA membership gives you access to:
- Over 200 non-credit courses per year
- Free events exclusively for members
- Invitations to special guest speaker talks
- Leadership opportunities within the OLLI community
- Intergenerational volunteer opportunities at UCLA
- Opportunities to learn about & participate in UCLA research
- Discounts to select UCLA events & retailers
- OLLI member lounge in Westwood
There are two tiers of membership:
Basic Membership – $50/year
Basic members enroll at regular course fees
Purchase Basic Membership Winter 2026 - Fall 2026
Plus Membership – $295/year
Plus members enroll at significantly reduced course fees – paying no more than $40 per course (some exceptions apply). Plus members are also exempt from administrative refund fees and can enroll in most Taste of Osher courses for free.

How to Join and Enroll in Courses
If you are a new member, or your membership has expired, you will be automatically prompted to purchase a new membership when you pay for your courses.
First begin by selecting your courses:
Step 1: Visit the OLLI Course Schedule page and click on the name of the course you would like to take.
Step 2: Scroll down the course page and click on the yellow "Enroll" button to add it to your shopping cart.
Repeat steps 1 & 2 until you've added all desired courses to your cart.
Step 3: Proceed to checkout by clicking on the shopping cart in the top right of your screen. At checkout, you will be asked to login or create a MyExtension account. For help, please contact the OLLI office.
Step 4: Follow the prompts to continue checkout. If you are a new member or your membership has expired, our system will automatically prompt you to add a membership to your cart.

The Michael Williams Memorial Scholarship Fund provides current and prospective members who demonstrate financial need—and a commitment to lifelong learning— a free year of OLLI Plus membership. Plus members pay significantly reduced course fees of no more than $40/course (some exceptions apply).
How to apply
To be considered for a scholarship, please download the application and submit all required items to osher@uclaextension.edu. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis.
Applications must be received by the following deadlines:
- Fall Quarter: July 25
- Spring Quarter: January 25
- Winter Quarter: October 25
- Summer Quarter: April 24

Registration
To register over the phone, transfer between courses, or update your student profile, call UCLA Extension Registration, Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm, at (310) 825-9971, ext. 601 or email enroll@uclaextension.edu. Please contact the OLLI office for help with navigating online registration or for questions about course content.
Refund Requests
Refund requests will be accepted through the close of business on the final refund date, which is printed on your enrollment receipt (typically this is 2 weeks after course start date). For every refund request totaling $30 or more, a $30 administrative fee is assessed (this fee is waived for Plus members). OLLI membership dues are nonrefundable and nontransferable.
