John Kim

John Kim currently holds a position as Manufacturing Engineer at Northrop Grumman.  He has over 21 years of experience as an engineer. He has worked in the satellite industry for over 10 years and the remaining in both the automotive and aircraft.  He has spent his career as a design engineer, a lead research and development engineer, project engineer and manufacturing engineer.  His areas of technical expertise include primary and secondary structure, mechanisms and class A surfacing for automotive design and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing.  In addition, he has served as a key role of implementing laser scanning CMM technology to the F-35 production line at Northrop Grumman.  John holds a Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering from California State University Long Beach and a Certificate in Systems Engineering from Cal Tech. Mr. Kim is certified as a GD&T professional at the Senior Level by ASME.
