The course provides an introduction to construction and design management for infection prevention. This course highlights the importance of infection prevention and control in construction, renovation, and maintenance projects in the healthcare setting. Students will be introduced to the Infection Control Risk Assessment (ICRA), which is an important tool for Infection Preventionists to proactively identify potential infection risks and mitigations solutions.
