About This Course
This is a slow meditative course, intended for those with little or no yoga experience, or those with physical limitations. In this course, we practice breathing techniques, chair yoga, and gentle vinyasa yoga, in which participants perform flowing asanas on the mat, enhancing flexibility and strength. We end each session with a deeply restorative Savasana, accompanied by the tranquil sounds of a sound bath, facilitating a profound sense of relaxation and wellbeing. This course is intended for those looking to find balance and peace through an integrated approach to wellness, welcoming participants of all ages, body types and abilities. Students must bring their own mats, and sign a waiver before participating.
Winter 2026 Schedule
Plus members pay only $40 for this course. Participants are required to sign a waiver form which will be provided. Visitors not permitted.
You must be at least 50 years old and a current member of the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at UCLA to enroll in this course.
