UCLA Extension Real Estate Scholarship Fund

Scholarship Eligibility Requirements:

• At the time of application for this scholarship, students must be currently enrolled in (paid the candidacy fee) and have completed a minimum of 1-2 courses within one of the following UCLA Extension certificate programs: Real Estate Certificate, Commercial Real Estate Certificate, Real Estate Investment and Finance Certificate, or the General Business Studies with Concentration in Real Estate Certificate
• Applicants must be 18 years of age or older
• Applications must be received within the application window and by the deadline shown 
• Applicants who have been previously awarded a Real Estate Scholarship may not re-apply
• UCLA and UCLA Extension employees and their family members or dependents are not eligible
• Eligibility criteria for all final candidates will be checked and confirmed by UCLA Extension

The following documents must be completed and uploaded by the deadlines. Once you begin your application you will be able to stop and start the process should you need to gather additional documents. MS Word and PDF are among the formats accepted.

To apply, candidates must:

• Complete the online application form
• Submit a 450-500 word, typed Personal Statement addressing the following questions: Why are you interested in real estate? What is your reason for going into real estate? And, why are you deserving of the scholarship? (This can include any financial need).
• Please also include which real estate certificate you are enrolled in and how many courses have been successfully completed in the certificate

Applications that are incomplete, late or from ineligible students will not be considered. Applications will not be returned. UCLA Extension reserves the right to request additional financial documentation.
