About This Course

This course covers the analysis of cell organization, structure and function at the molecular level. Cell membranes and organelles, membrane transport, cellular signaling, cytoskeleton and cell movement, intracellular trafficking and cell energetics also are covered. Not open for credit to students with credit for C139 or M140. Transferable for UC credit.
Prerequisites

LIFESCI XL 7A Cell and Molecular Biology; LIFESCI XL 7B Genetics, Evolution and Ecology; LIFESCI XL 7C Physiology and Human Biology; LIFESCI XL 23L Introduction to Laboratory and Scientific Methodology.
