Instructor Statement:

In my high school years, I wrote my first spec scripts of the David E. Kelley CBS series, Picket Fences, and discovered that David Kelley was a far more talented writer than I could ever be!  Ultimately, my love of writers, their process, and of television led me to a fulfilling career as a writers' representative.  As an agent and as a manager, I have helped scores of writers hone their ideas, develop their material, prepare for network and streamer pitch meetings, and break into the business with that all important first staff writer job. My own full time work is advising writers on how to navigate the TV business. Teaching both the creative and the business sides of the entertainment industry, gives me the opportunity to bring what I do as a manager to you, the next generation of David E. Kelleys and beyond.

Our Students Say it Best!

“We asked lots of questions and Zadoc either knew the answers or gave us his educated opinion. It was a comfortable class where students could bring up any issue or concern related to their script or career and Zadoc would listen and care that everyone got their questions answered.  Zadoc has a unique and intelligent perspective on the TV writing business. I learned tremendously from his insights.” —Writers’ Program student
