Peter Cipkowski
Peter Cipkwoski, Ed.D., is an academic and civic leader with a commitment to global education. Holding a Doctorate in Global Education from the University of Southern California, Cipkowski specializes in civic engagement as well as political and literary history. He currently serves as Vice President of the Willa Cather Foundation Board of Governors and frequently lectures on Cather's life and literary contributions. With 25 years in executive roles at educational giants like Scholastic and Pearson, Cipkowski has a proven track record in educational technology. He collaborates extensively with EdTech companies and international ministries of education, focusing on developing and implementing impactful learning systems for underserved student populations. Prior to relocating to Los Angeles in 2020, Cipkowski dedicated 14 years to public service in his Hudson Valley hometown, including terms as mayor and council member. His expertise in Eastern European political history is showcased in Revolution in Eastern Europe: The Collapse of Communism, published by John Wiley & Sons.
