Khosrow Khosravani
Khosrow “Koz” Khosravani has worked in the field of Information Technology for over three decades. He began his career as a Software Engineer at Digital Equipment Corporation (later merged with Compaq), programming in VAX-Macro assembly language for VAX mini-computer clusters. Koz went on to serve as an IT consultant and trainer for numerous firms, specializing in software engineering, e-business security and back-end integration, distributed relational database management systems, wireless technologies, networking, web development, and distributed applications.
He has trained hundreds of employees at major U.S. companies, including Boeing and Raytheon, in areas such as web development, online security, software engineering, and integration with back-end systems including Microsoft IIS, SQL Server, Site Server, and BizTalk Server on the Windows Advanced Server platform.
Currently, Koz conducts research and offers online workshops on digital transformation, leveraging frontier and emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Blockchain, Cybersecurity, Internet of Things (IoT), Big Data, Augmented and Virtual Reality (AR/VR), and Cloud Computing. He also teaches university-level courses in Artificial Intelligence, No-Code AI Toolbox, Cybersecurity, Responsible AI, Data Science Fundamentals, Digital Transformation, and Full-Stack Web Development. In addition to teaching, Koz leads his own firm where he develops AI and Cybersecurity tools to protect clients—including law firms, medical and dental clinics, and private enterprises—against modern digital threats.
He was honored as the keynote speaker at UCLA’s 75th anniversary convocation, where he represented graduate and professional students before the President of the United States and other dignitaries, addressing an audience of 14,000.
Beyond academia and technology, Koz’s heroism was recognized when the Los Angeles Chargers named him a Hometown Hero at SoFi Stadium, honoring his bravery in rescuing a woman who had been lost at sea for 12 hours, in front of 70,000 attendees.
Outside of his professional and academic pursuits, Koz holds a black belt in karate, is a former wrestler and football player, and is a dedicated yoga enthusiast.
