Kevin Snyder

Kevin Snyder is a filmmaker, educator, and video essayist whose work explores the intersection of creativity, psychology, and cultural history. He holds an MFA in Film from ArtCenter College of Design and a BA in Film & Visual Culture from the University of California, Riverside. Kevin has produced more than thirty short films, documentaries, and commercial pieces, and has worked in television as an associate and story producer for NBC/Universal, ABC, and HGTV.

His teaching background includes leading discussion-based courses in film history, mythology, psychology, and media culture for inter-generational audiences. Kevin is the creator of May Be ADHD, a long-form documentary and video essay project that examines the lives of figures such as Leonardo da Vinci, Albert Einstein, Marilyn Monroe, and Caravaggio through the lens of neurodivergent creativity. His work blends narrative analysis, historical research, and emotional insight to illuminate how unusual minds shape art, innovation, and culture.

Kevin is passionate about helping learners engage with complex ideas through storytelling, accessible language, and visual demonstration. He lives in Southern California with his wife, two children, and one cat, and continues to develop film-based educational content for public audiences.
