Jack Chang

Jack Chang is a distinguished professional with a unique blend of over 30 years of experience in information technology and more than 20 years as an educator. His deep expertise is rooted in his academic background from the University of Southern California (USC), where he studied Computer Science in a highly regarded program known for its challenging curriculum and faculty, many of whom were MIT alumni. This rigorous training equipped Jack with a robust understanding of complex IT concepts.

With a dedicated focus on cybersecurity, exemplified by his CISSP certification, Jack's extensive career includes significant achievements, such as designing and building the fault-tolerant, high-speed Global Fund Transfer system for Union Bank, a system responsible for transferring over a billion dollars daily. He also played a key role in the network team, supporting Cisco-based infrastructure for the bank's 300 California branches. Beyond his corporate roles, Jack's consulting work showcases his versatile skills, including penetration testing, computer forensics, and a major project to establish remote access security for over 5,000 users at Edison. Through his industry contributions and significant time spent teaching, Jack has consistently demonstrated an ability to not only drive technological innovation but also to cultivate the next generation of IT professionals
