Gilyoung Cheong

Gilyoung Cheong is a Lead Data Scientist at Lumetec, where he spearheads the design and implementation of advanced machine learning (ML) and deep learning (DL) models in collaboration with top seismologists at Caltech, aiming to predict and understand earthquakes. He earned his Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of Michigan, with a research portfolio that spans algebraic geometry, algebraic topology, combinatorics, number theory, and probability theory.
