Fabio De Martino

Fabio brings over 20 years of expertise in managing complex projects and programs across the biotechnology, financial, and IT sectors. Currently, he holds the Global Head of Quality Strategy and Operation position at Kite Pharma, with over 15 years of experience across diverse therapeutic areas including Cell & Gene Therapies, Biologics, and Vaccines. He has previously served as Associate Director of Finance and Information Management Process Improvement at BioMarin and as Senior Manager in the Global Quality function at Genentech. Fabio is a strategic, results-driven leader skilled in leading complex, matrixed organizations with expertise in Portfolio Program & Project Management, and Technical Operations across the drug lifecycle. He has a proven track record in driving change, optimizing processes, and fostering continuous improvement in both startups and large organizations.

Fabio holds a BA in Chemical Engineering from the University of Salerno and a MS in Chemical Engineering from Pisa University, where he graduated with honors cum laude. He is a licensed engineer, a certified Lean Manufacturing Six-Six Sigma Black Belt, Disciplined Agile Scrum Master (DASM), and Project Management Professional (PMP).
