Daniel Murphy PE

Mr. Murphy is a registered professional engineer and holds certifications in Plumbing as a Certified Plumbing Designer, in Fire Protection as a Certified Fire Protection Specialist, and is a full member of ASHRAE, NFPA, ASME, ASPE, The International Association of Fire Chiefs, The Society of Fire Protection Engineers, and the International Code Council as a professional member.  He is LEED Certified and a former member of the Board of Directors of the Green Building Initiative.

Mr. Murphy is currently the owner of the firm of Murphy Experts, LLC.  The firm provides expert witness services for Architects, other Engineers, Litigators, and Owners.  We also provide consulting engineering services for mechanical (HVAC), Plumbing, Fire Protection, Electrical, and Life Safety for the same above clients.

His practice spans 40+ years.  He has designed systems for high rise buildings, hospitals, retail commercial facilities, Industrial Facilities, and Trading Institutions. He has designed systems for projects across the United States, the Middle East, and Europe. He has designed gray water recycling systems for multi-family housing, and frequently participate with Code Committees to review and when needed, re-write building codes.
