Christopher Giamarino

Chris Giamarino is an Assistant Professor of Urban and Regional Planning at Cal Poly Pomona. He holds a PhD in Urban Planning from UCLA. His research interests include theories of social-spatial justice and urban design; public space regulation and design; affordable housing and homelessness; and mixed methods. His work has been featured in the Journal of the American Planning Association, Housing Policy Debate, Cities & Health, Urban Affairs Review, and the Journal of Urban Design. He teaches a python-based Geographic Information Systems data visualization course for the DAPA Certificate Program.
