Design a Brilliant Career and Find Your Professional Purpose

Design education leader Scott Hutchinson teaches you how to take your design career goals from lackluster to brilliant. A small seminar created for those considering a meaningful career in Graphic Design and User Experience. This introduction to the profession is designed to help students see possibilities and discover areas where they can have impact. Areas we explore include required skills, personal storytelling, portfolio development and positioning, including bringing in your degree and previous work expertise. This workshop is especially useful for students with previous "unrelated" degrees, and/or who have recently enrolled in the Design Communication Arts or UX certificates. Also relevant for designers looking to advance, exploring a change in design specialty or nearing graduation.
