- By logging into your student account, selecting My Enrollment History, and clicking the blue dot next to the course
International Students (F1 Visa): Dropping or withdrawing from a course may jeopardize your immigration status. Please consult with the International Student Services at iss@uclaextension.edu or 1-310-825-9351 before taking action.

Enrollment and Transfer Deadlines
- Regular Format Courses: Deadline for students to enroll or transfer (move enrollment from one class to another) without a "Request for Late Enrollment" is the Sunday at 11:59 p.m. (PT) at the end of week 1. Learn more about transferring to another course.
- Short Format & Alternative Format Courses: Requests for late enrollment in a short format or alternative format course is determined on a case-by-case basis by the academic program director review.
Drop/Refund Deadlines
- Regular Format Courses: Deadline for students to drop a regular format course and receive a refund of the course fee, minus any applicable administrative fee, is the Sunday at 11:59 p.m. (PT) at the end of week 2. Learn more about dropping a course.
- Short Format & Alternative Format Courses: Deadline for students to drop a short format or alternative format course and receive a refund of the course fee, minus applicable administrative fee, is determined by the course start date.
Petition to Change Grading or Credit Option
Students may change their option for final grading (e.g. letter grade to P/NP, S/U, etc.) and/or credit option by this date by sending a request to studentrecords@uclaextension.edu. See grading scale and credit options.
Petition for an Incomplete
Students who have good cause may request an Incomplete by speaking with the Instructor and contacting the academic program unit. Requests must be made via the Incomplete petition form which is reviewed for approval/denial by the instructor and program director. Learn more about the Incomplete petition process.
Withdrawal Deadline
Students have the option to discontinue enrollment in a course, with no refund, before taking the final and before a final course grade. Students who have taken or accessed or submitted a final exam, paper, or project may not withdraw from the class. Learn more about the withdrawal process.
