About this course:
Explore how pop culture shapes our identities and stories in this engaging seminar. We’ll respond in writing to famous pieces of pop culture and reflect on your own specific pop-culture relationships. You’ll explore your own personal pop culture canon and uncover the layered influences that have shaped it. We'll draw inspiration from authors such as Stephen Sexton, Joseph Earl Thomas, Liv Mammone, and Joan Didion. You’ll come away from this course with a deeper understanding of your pop culture influences and new strategies for weaving them into your creative work.
