Matin Lackpour

 I hold a doctoral degree in Petroleum Engineering from Pacific Western University, MBA from Pepperdine University where I finished my second doctorate at School of Education and Psychology in Institutional Management. I work as a Mechanical Engineer in Los Angeles. In addition, I was the President and CEO of LPT Construction Company where we managed design and construction of medium size projects. I have been teaching at various Colleges and Universities in Southern California since 1981 in areas of Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, and Computer Science. Since 1991, I joined University of California in Los Angeles- Extension Department in Business - Management and Mathematics Department, where I am a member of faculties in areas of Mathematics and Quantitative Methods courses. I have been married for 20 years and have 2 children (two boys ages 17 and 13).
