I am a licensed CPA and a Chartered Accountant who has been in the accounting industry since 2006. In my previous role, I served as the VP of Finance for New Gen Administrative which is a health care company that owns more than 18 different nursing homes across the west coast. I was responsible for streamlining their operations and working with the core accounting team to communicate monthly reports directly to the president of the organization. I have worked in multiple industries during the past 18 years ranging from recruitment to healthcare and I can confidently say that my experience in different industries makes me an excellent candidate for your department. I have also worked at Korn Ferry, Wella International and at Gumbiner Savett in the past. I have in-depth knowledge of the accounting standards and their implementation in day-to-day management. I have also presented to the board and the audit committee in the past and strongly feel that more accountants belong in the C-Suite and in the boardroom. I have a strong background in accounting, and I have focused on Sarbanes Oxley controls, financial reporting and ground up implementation of any new accounting system in my organization.
